"the army can't tell me what to do with muh body" even though that's pretty much what the army does. Never heard this subject come up, but 100% that would be the objection. Also, "you're hurting families."
I reiterate: Getting injured in a car accident or literally shooting yourself in the foot is considered destruction of US property if you're a male grunt.
