If I call the cops to tell them that I'm definitely not involved in a murder that hadn't yet been reported to them, does it mean that I'm proven innocent?

I've already seen some fake screencaps floating around social media. It's a tried and true tactic for liars to flood media with disinformation in response to the release of genuinely damaging information.
And it's only a matter of time before a "Epstein document generator" makes its way to an online meme portal to the delight of trolls.
