How many of these so-called 'counterculture' types haven't turned out to be complete frauds?
Jamiroquai is a prime example. They rose to fame on a nineties 'anti-war' and alarmist 'environmentalist message' platform and by their second album they were racing unaffordable luxury race cars in their music videos and priding themselves on their glitzy lifestyles.
For the record, Cosmic Girl is still one of my favorite songs. But frauds are frauds.
Basically anyone who expressed an antiwar viewpoint during Iraq II is a total hypocrite, except for Noam Chomsky and a couple of other people. That includes the whole Democrat voterbase.
