Still a closer translation than switching "I no longer keep track of my kills" to "... ... ... ...", or "I'm your superior, you should address me with respectful language" to "You're one of those GamerGate Freakshows, aren't you?".
And the AI stuff will improve every day, especially if a lot of people/companies wind up using it, more users = more data = better results.
You know what the funniest thing about the whole AI translations thing really is? AI isn't fool-proof. It's gonna make mistakes every now and then. And a localization company could make BANK by involving AI for the bulk of their work and using current localizers as essentially editors to make sure it works. And these freaks would still be able to control the industry.
But they're literally too stupid for it. They can't see how easy it would be to come out on top. And I couldn't be happier for it.
As much as I shit on AI translation if it's edited up properly none of their complaining is going to matter. That's a correct use of AI potentially, I don't want to see it spewing out the gibberish I have seen it spew out though. Sometimes AI can get extremely broken and it's not something that people talk about enough, too much skynet larping.

The show was "The Yuzuki Family's Four Sons," by the way.
And yet everyone who sees that sub understands the meaning even if it's not 100% grammatically correct.
Which is more than you can say about wokealizers that straight up lie about what the original said.
I still quote this particular line now, as a joke. So at least it's funny!
