God damn. That's a big deal. IIRC Argentina's entire airline industry was operated by the Air Force (at least under the junta).
This will create massive "freedom of movement" WITHIN the country, allowing for people to seek out better economic opportunities and improve the economy. This also allows the economy to skirt around major problems with infrastructure in a timely manner by allowing small regional flights to do the heavy lifting until enough capital can be accrued to improve the road infrastructure.
The better developed African nations do this too (like Nigeria and Ethiopia) for the same reason.
Politically speaking, it also allows people to flee (and thereby depopulate) some of the Leftist hive cities, which will completely undermine the Left's political power.
This is some genuinely good shit.
Stop. I can only get so hard.
Blackpillers and doomercucks get the rope.
Cordoba becomes Denver for flights
Looks more like Atlanta.
Yay multinational airlines supplanting locals. So based. Because every nation needs more foreign investment and control! Why have a domestic airline when you can instead rely on mega airlines from other countries!
Flying out of Newark, NJ which is a hub nearly completely controlled by United Airlines due to legit corruption where the head of the Port Authority went to jail over it - I'd have no problem if some European airlines popped in and competed. Shit, Southwest don't even have a single flight out of EWR.
Competition is a good thing. Propping up failed state actors and patronage pit airlines has always been a failure.
I said nothing about government monopolies. I guarantee the issues you have are not because of a free market. Nor does a free market mean allowing other state subsidized foreign airlines take over routes.
