The hate is a byproduct. The reason they hate her is because she led a sea change in attitudes towards troonery. That is a win for everyone except the imp, who by the way claims that Rowling would celebrate if someone slit her son's throat.

She didn't lead anything. There's still a hate culture against men and boys and if anything, it's gotten worse.
