if these are people with any kind of conscience they would use images sourced from copyright-free sites and things like that which is completely fair

Yeah when I was learning to sketch I strictly studied art from copyright-free sites. I would NEVER try to copy styles from professional works of art. That would be WRONG.

You wouldn't download a CAR would you?
