Whatever bullshit answer you're going to give, the flag didn't need to be changed. It's more recognizable than this generic shit that looks like every other flag redesign out there. It's so generic you can pretend it doesn't look exactly like thr Somalian flag.
Really? At a distance it's indistinguishable from half the states in the union's flags.
So change it to something equally as generic that looks like a foreign flag because of muh natives?

I didn't say that. I have no strong feelings one way or the other about the new flag. The old flag had glaring issues, in terms of legibility at a distance, and memorability, and replacing it was a reasonable thing to do.
Honestly, the only distinctive thing is that It looks like a fucking baseball.
The new flag you might object to, but it has several strong features as a flag, and from a Vexology perspective the inverted chevron is actually quite distinct.
