The ones I knew would make $100s a month from guys just for a single text response a day, everyday. Minimum level effort, but gives these guys some form of validation beyond just the horny.
Once they reach a mass enough to have way too many guys to keep track of, aka being whatever a "star" is, I'm not surprised they hire standins to fulfill it.
I can't even hate the women in this case, much as I hate ever giving them space. Parasocial relationships are literally being foisted upon every personality on the internet. Social media pages, Twitch Streamers, random hoes, Political Talking Heads.
Every single fucking zoomer and terminally online person, of which there are a lot of both, seems determined to make you be in one with them as a prerequisite for their fandom and support.
