Refusing to take it seriously is the smartest move he could make, because everyone knows these indictments are bullshit.

That didn't stop them from indicting him, and it won't stop him from going to prison because some NYC or DC jury thinks Orange Man Bad.

That mugshot instantly piled 10 points onto his poll numbers the moment it was released. Why wouldn't he take advantage if it?

Agreed, though I think it was more than the mugshot. And it was just the primary. I see no similar spike in the general.
