I think this type of insurance policy strategy can only work if that person is not portrayed by the media as evil.
Media gave glowing positive coverage to Biden and Kamala Harris.
If Trump picked that kind of person, they would only use it as ammunition against his campaign and it would hurt his chances of even winning the general election in the first place.
Trump certainly has decent V.P. options that would be loyal to the U.S constitution and to him that are also not drags on the ticket.
I have heard that on Twitter but since this article doesn't mention it, I didn't include my thoughts on Ben Carson.
Imo I think Carson could be a decent pick. He is a good guy who is mild mannered and would complement Trump.
He could help Trump appeal to some people that are turned off by Trump's over the top abrasive rhetoric.
I still think it's better to pick a 'rabid dog' as VP just so the deep state can't off you.
Gotta say, there's probably a reason Obama and Biden felt completely safe in public with their VPs...
