Pretty sure that the reason Reddit is a private company is because if they go public, it will be revealed that at least half (and probably upwards of 75%) of their website is just porn. It's an illicit site with nice window-dressing.
They'll never do it. Pretty sure in like 2016-2017, When The Donald filled the main page because they accidentally lifted the shadowban on it for a day, they also accidentally revealed that half of the site was just pornography. Considering how many more porn subreddits have started and grown spectacularly since then, I'd wager that it's probably 65-70% now. They would have to reveal that number to investors and the whole thing comes crumbling down.
