The difference is that they have institutional protection when they dox people and we don't. Quite aside from the potential consequences we'd face if we engaged in that behavior, there's also the simple fact that personal information on leftists would be removed from circulation on mainstream social media much more efficiently than right wing dox is, and they would have much less to fear than a conservative even if their information became widely known.
I'm not saying don't do it. I'm just saying it still wouldn't have the same effect on them that it does on us.
Not really for me, I've met some men more pathetic than the most Karen women, women more based than Gary Plauche and gays more conservative than the Victorian era.
I only start labelling people in groups when they ACT like a hive with no individual thought.
People who enjoy a game have no obligation to the dev. My relationship withnthem is purely business. I pay for something and I expect it to be 100% functional and feature complete in release, ideally never needing to be patched because it was released in a perfect state. The dev must sink or swim from the merit of their games. I have long since outgrown loyalty to a brand, dev or any product. I'm not saying doxxing is right, I'm saying fans owe the devs NOTHING.
Considering it was a one person dev, if it isn't "right" then you probably owe the person the basic humanity and morality to defend them from injustice. Especially if a fan wanted the game to actually get finished.

If anything, we know now that the creator was a woman.
That is the only identifying detail I will share. Because I know that alone is a deal-breaker to some here.

Impossible. You're likely to never know a man more based than Gary Plauche.
His wife was one given after the shooting she told him 'the least you could've done was let me drive you there!'
As for men as based, there's a few now and again, usually we find out about them after their deaths.
Fair enough.
True, just start doxxing a few of the haters and it will create a chilling effect.

I know nothing about this game and come into this completely blind.
Ten minutes of digging around shows me this is a game about cannibalism, incest, and satanism, and the creator is a troon.
What about any of this makes this creator an ideological ally? Isn't this exactly the thing that should be fought with said fire?
