The difference is that they have institutional protection when they dox people and we don't. Quite aside from the potential consequences we'd face if we engaged in that behavior, there's also the simple fact that personal information on leftists would be removed from circulation on mainstream social media much more efficiently than right wing dox is, and they would have much less to fear than a conservative even if their information became widely known.

I'm not saying don't do it. I'm just saying it still wouldn't have the same effect on them that it does on us.
