The TikTok algorithm has ML/AI elements to it, but there's a Chinese thumb on the scale so that Americans/Europeans are more likely to be fed degenerate bullshit while the Chinese kids (when they are allowed to use it in the first place) is more nerd/tech/inspirational things.
The Asian's are going to dominate in the AI space if it's not something open sourced.
Which is great, going by their media, their AI is least likely to Skynet us, more likely to be a caregiver taking care of their retarded parent..
