Agreed. It would be one thing if we lived in a small town or village where everybody knew everybody else. Or even a nation of shared values like Christiandom. As is, the phone is an escape from the present. It is the replacement for the tv, radio and newspapers of not so long ago.

In short though, the government has to negotiate with corporations that have the skills to access the resources Argentina has in a manner that works to the advantage of the people of Argentina but that means government involvement not less government involvement. You'd want a joint venture perhaps, capital controls to ensure reinvestment, subsidies to make it profitable, etc... this is where it gets tricky though because the government can negotiate deals that are good for foreign corps and bad for the people. I wouldn't be shocked if the jews come away richer but not necessarily everyone else, not to mention the potential cultural destruction that can be wrought as well. The USA is rich but at what cost to the culture? I think most people would be prefer being poorer if they got video games without blue haired tranny feminists making the video games.
