I'm trying to wrap my head around what exactly happened here?

The woman on the left is one of the writers for the game, and she has a very similar facial structure to MJ in the Spider-Man 2 game. I'm trying to understand what happened here? Did they use the face model of Stephanie Jones then mold the facial structure to be similar to the writer, or is it just a coincidence?
Furthermore, how do we literally have no idea why female characters come out uglier than the supposed face model when the male characters look fine? We have theories, but nobody in the industry has even spoken about it, even anonymously.
There are no coincidences.
Oy vey, that's
anti-semiticmisogynistic.Even the chick on the left is more physically attractive. The MJ looks like the retarded version of that actress from American Horror Story to include simultaneously looking 60 and 30 at the same time.

I think the one on the right is better. She's like in-between the writer and the face model. It's a self-insert fantasy for her.
Not sure what's worse, this, or MJ being made.blaxk in the MCU.
Someone at the time said “well she wasn’t meant to be that Mary Jane”. They clearly knew what they were doing
I really miss when video games were made by White and Asian turbo-nerds.
Easy answer for this. The writing art and design teams have a lot of women in them nowadays.
Women like men - so they make the men very attractive. They are catty and jealous, however, so they don't want to put in attractive women because those attractive women make them insecure. So this is why modern games have bland uninteresting looking women but the men still look awesome.
