Is it just me, or is Bill Burr’s situation the Yoko Ono of comedy? The woman he chose to marry is antithetical to everything he put forth originally in his routines.
It's the grass is always greener. He feels like his upbringing was bad, too tough dad, bullying, etc.
So he tries to fix himself by hooking up with somebody who was raised "right" only to discover that her field is just astroturf not grass and his field despite its dead patches was healthier all along.
Personally, I think its less greener grass and more crippling self esteem issues. He used to rant on and on about how broken and awful to be around he was due to his intense rage issues, so once he found someone who "calmed" that out of him and "loved" him in spite of it he just devoted himself entirely to her.
Its a situation a lot of guys go through. Where the first woman to show you any amount of love must be a goddess because who else could love a monster like you. And then it blinds you to all the destruction they are running in your life around you.
It apparently depends whether you ask a critic or an average viewer. The comedy currently has an abysmal 17 percent score among critics on Rotten Tomatoes, yet an impressive 90 percent positive rating for its audience score.
Comedy once again striking too deep for the delicate leftists
At some point, there's going to have to be a metric to determine who is considered acceptable as a "professional critic." Because out of touch regressives are just making fools out of themselves.

That’s a really concise and insightful explanation. Thank you.

Any public figure who hasn't been accused of racism isn't worth listening to.
The only one I can think of is Jocko who is also perfectly disciplined in avoiding polarizing political stayements.
The same critics who thought that manly looking woman who bashes men was funny?
Really doesn't take much does it
Bill Burr is a total cuck. Gave up on him and his comedy long ago. Just don't. Plus, Netflix so double the don't to the power of 10.
The actual score is the diffetence between the audience and critic scores.
I'm surprised rotten tomatoes still allows audience scores at all since they usually don't support the gay commie agenda.
And you know that audience score is after they cut out the "problematic" reviews
Found it terrible, could stomach like 20mins of this struggle session.
