Unfortunately the recent Israeli bullshit got the old weaponised autism going again. I'm in complete agreement with people that this is likely a false flag setup to bait Hamas into a war with Israel and kick off a new conflict the military industrial complex can profit from massively and stir up old political rivalries.
However I think there's another layer to this as well of how tourism boards and the like are frequently advertising dangerous places to young people and specifically young people through social media and so on. Yeah, I know, music festivals are primarily going to be aimed at young people anyway. However why is it becoming so common now they plonk these events in the middle east when they could do it anywhere else?
I think they want young people to show up there, especially ones with large followers so they attract bigger numbers and they do it because they know it will make them targets for terrorists. They can then get the PR train rolling acting like they're dishing out justice for these victims when really they just want to profiteer of their deaths.
The ones who treat the world as their personal playground are a lost cause but any zoomer especially really needs to have it hammered into them that that middle east is not a place you fuck around and treat as a tourist destination. At the very least they should talk to some PMCs or soldiers so they have a proper understanding of the kinds of threats they could face there if they insist on going.
I mean fucking hell, I know people can be dumb, but going to Israel to party at a festival right where terrorists can literally paradrop on you is next level stupid.
The problem isn't entirely on the parents. The culture as a whole and the government play just as large of roles as the parents.
If you prevent your daughter from using the internet her whole life, home school so she doesn't go to public school, ban her from having friends so they don't negatively influence her then the second that daughter leaves the family, gets a cellphone and makes an Instagram account, she turns into the biggest rebellious blue haired whore the world has ever seen.
Parents can only do so much and sometimes they fail no matter what they do because the influences in our culture and the government are just too strong of a force.
If parents just took the time to warn them about this sort of thing they wouldn't fall into these situations in the first place and realise themselves how bad it can get. It's nothing to do with culture and government, it has everything to do with the fact that lots of parents are tech illiterate morons who couldn't point to a LAN port on the back of a PC. Yes this is a big part of it, they don't understand the internet and they don't understand all the stuff that's going on.
What I do have hope for are the parents who grew up with tech and are very savvy, they're the ones who are going to be able to save their children from becoming wrecks. It's like when you look at the psychological profile of your average lefty weirdo or whatever and it's everything you'd expect and it's the same with these situations. Dumb and out of touch parents, usually fairly elderly even by parent standards, don't realise they're sending their children into a ravine surrounded by lions and think it's just some nice trip to the middle east.
Well, the German girl who was paraded on the news most likely had dual Israeli citizenship.
At the least, her father was Jewish.

This wasn't the case of poor innocent German girl had bad parents who didn't know any better. She felt safe in Israel and the area she was in because she was half Jewish and wanted to honor her Jewish ancestry by dancing for peace.
There was no I'm innocent and didn't know any better story. The whole reason she was there was precisely because her parents knew better and were caught right up in the conflict given her ancestry.
