Most Americans live in cities. I don't know why so many on the alleged right cheer on the destruction of their own countries and the cities built by their ancestors. I guess it owns the libtards or something.
It's rationalization of helplessness that comes from trying and failing, or thinking the situation is hopeless. "I've done what I can do. I wash my hands of you." It especially dominates the psychology of the American Right, which believes in limited government instead of the pursuit of power.
It usually carries the implication the GOP would fix things. "Blue cities" and "you voted for this!" discourse imply that the GOP is actually good, if only you would just vote for them.
That's why I think GOP operatives astroturfed it. Like all good astroturf, it eventually picked up true believers that sustain the effort.
That is something I have a problem with too. I don't want death and destruction to prove my point. It means I have to deal with it. It reminds me of the religious types who get excited about destruction because it means Christ is coming. I highly doubt God likes cursing or causing destruction on people.

Excellent observation, that sort of dispensationalist mentality pacifies people. It's a great excuse to do nothing. I also see it with the Q-tards and the plan trusting. I guess the "destroying your country is good because it owns the libtards" psyop is what they use against people who are too smart for q-tarding.
Cities are typically the enemy to freedom, and most are built for the purposes of extracting wealth and resources from the surrounding areas.
I know you don't like that you had to engage in White Flight, but fundamentally it was the right thing to do if your community is being replaced: Relocate and build again elsewhere.
I'm not going to give away enough info to dox me so I have to be cryptic here. No, that was most definitely the case. The suburb was independent of the nearest city.

It's also astroturfed by the GOP, gotta keep those expectations at rock bottom.
It's more a reaction to the GOP being losers/the enemy.

God has nothing to do with this. Humans are capable of causing more than enough misery and destruction.
Also the people that are causing this live in cities. They need to suffer the consequences of their actions.

We can build new cities.
I had to white flight out of a suburb, actually. Not living in a blue city won't save you.
Same difference. Those suburbs are normally annexed into cities by urban sprawl, conquering more territory and making more dependents.

Prop 187 was quite the saga, what could have been.
