Then it's less a question of 'saving America' and more a question of 'what PARTS of America should we save?'

That's a lot more doable and would be the start of bulkanization but it's hard for some to admit some places aren't worth saving....

...ignoring the obvious of California, New York, Chicago, Portland, Seattle, Baltimore etc.
