Ever since the Kavanaugh hearings I assume pretty much every allegation against a wealthy or famous man is a lie until proven otherwise.
Even before, the whole Lacrosse team being accused and it turning out the woman lied...or mattress girl. They ruin it for ACTUAL abuse victims and simply proves the whole "sisterhood" shit is a lie since they don't seem to care if other women will now maybe not be believed.
Duke lacrosse was far more insidious, the campus staff and faculty went after them and never faced repercussions. The DA/police hid evidence exonerating them, and conspired with the “stripper” to fabricate testimony. Not to mention Nancy Grace and the national media turning it into a guilty circus. Everyone involved in that campaign should have had their lives utterly destroyed, instead they profited massively and cackled on to their next campaign.
At least Nifong was disbarred. Unfortunately, all the others got away with it. Not only that, what they did is not even brought up. No accountability when you lie for the regime.
'Fun' fact: some journalists were told by black students that they want the white kids to suffer, even if they were innocent. Why? Because other whites had done bad things to other black people in the past.
They don't even need to be famous or wealthy. It just needs a woman wanting to be spiteful
The default position should be to not believe allegations, of any kind, until proven otherwise. If someone told me that you once robbed a gas station, I'd ask for evidence, without considering you a robber or him a liar.
