Sounds like Ukraine has bitten the hand that feeds too much, expecting being the lapdog of America would give them the ability to push around the rest of NATO.
If Poland carries this out, this'll greatly restrict then and probably lead to a quicker end and/or more desperate moves.
Poles hate russia but if would be hilarious if the ukies piss them off so much that they come to an agreement to divide the country and turn it into a designated buffer zone
Exceedingly unlikely. Poland tried something like that with Czechoslovakia right after the Munich Agreement, and it was considered the single dumbest thing they did before WW2 broke out. Among what I've learned from all my years observing autistic slapfights over history between Slavic users on the Internet, one of the things that never changes is that the Russians still love bringing that episode up when the Poles (or any other Slav/ex-Soviet nationality, like Latvians) slam them with memories of Molotov-Ribbentrop.
Now all that said, Ukraine would deserve it. I can think of very few nations which have received pretty much their entire GDP's worth in aid only to show such ridiculous ingratitude toward their benefactors, from Musk to Poland. Just like with welfare queens on the home front, it seems the people who get the most free shit also very rapidly reveal themselves to be the most entitled and ungrateful.
This is a common trait in a certain noticeable group. I guess, when you're taught from birth that the world is divided into people and goyim, it's to be expected.
I was recently thinking what country was most innocent in World War 2, and Poland came to mind - with that episode being the single exception.
That said, I'm not sure it was exactly 'dumb' - it did not have any negative consequences to my knowledge, other than further weakening the rump Czechoslovak state.
I disagree. The regime there is sending an entire generation of young men to their deaths for American empire, and they're selling their lives rather cheaply. The USG is not a 'benefactor' but rather a 'malefactor', being primarily and perhaps singly responsible for all the deaths in Ukraine.
If you think a country is super corrupt, which I think Ukraine is, they can't be your buddy unless you're up to no good. In the case of the political class in America, they have goals. It may even be funds into slush pool that they plan on extracting later.
Ukraine losing three full armies and basically all of NATO's spare vehicles and parts and accomplishing absolutely nothing besides giving Russia opportunities to figure out better defenses against the best NATO has to offer has been really wild to watch over the last year and a half.
Its kinda funny. Ukraine couldve set up defenses and antagonize russia to attack. Russia attacking means russia loses a lot more stuff and people. And if russia gains ground, the west would send more money/equipment.
Just seems strange that ukraine is counter attacking russia that is heavil entrench and out number ukrainians by a lot.
Another thing is.. its pretty fucked up. A wounded russian is laying on a ground and he looks up at the drone he knows is there. He has his hands up and is praying to the drone to not drop bombs on him. The drone dropped bombs on him twice. Missed him twice like they are toying with him. And them there was another footage where they dropped one on a dude's penis and blew it off and then a second one blowing open the dudes torso... and the drone footage is so good you can see the organs charred, pulsating, liquids and him taking his last breath.
War is fucking terrible. And its filled with war crimes om both sides. But of course, winning side is absolved of all war crimes.
I'm reminded of the fable of the scorpion and the frog for some reason...
Polish should have learnt from history. If I'm not mistaken this is not the first time that happened when Poles tried to be good guy and save the struggling group from more dominating/invading forces in Europe.
Poles saved Austria in 1683, and a century later, Austria, Prussia and Russia carved up the country in several partitions.
Ukrainians in poland is causing issues.. like BLM, they make it all about them and annoying the polish. See a buncha ukrainians pushing a polish dude around for telling ukrainuans to chill.
It is not exactly 'betrayal', it's a case of clashing and indivisible interests. Ukraine can't miss the money, and neither can Poland. Poland has leverage over Ukraine, and it's using that to the greatest extent possible.
Do not expect gratitude, as it is just the expectation of future rewards.
