Very long (54 min) presentation but very in depth look at the depth of the swamp in the US and the waste of government. (www.youtube.com)

https://www.openthebooks.com/ I'd never heard of this website over the past 5 or so years but it sounds like a great resource, primarily at the local level. I'd love to be able to go to a school board meeting and announce how much the people on the board earn to transition your kids behind your back.

There was some book I was gonna read about the rise of the managerial class, but I think the summary I read contained all the important truth in that book. The Fed government is an ever-growing beast, and I think it will be until a revolution or something like that. No one's ever really demonstrated that they have the long-term power to cap it, and the founders' fear that the people would vote themselves the treasury has been more true pretty much every year since the Constitution was laid down. Every time they amend it and move it towards populism, that problem gets worse. Of course the biggest one here was extending the vote to women. Of course they'd legislate that society provide for them while they accept the authority of no man, lol.

If incels were a majority voting block, they'd probably vote themselves sexual access to women with no obligations, right? Everyone wants something for nothing. The hoes have an alliance with other dependent classes, and if you include retirees, there are now far more of those than working people. I'm not ragging on retirees, but hoarded savings can't run a country. Someone has to actually do the work.

Fun fact from the intro: Ivy league schools are more federal contractors ($25b/6 years) than educational institutions ($22b/6 years).

It's a long watch, but the speaker is fairly dynamic, and the content is important.

Every year, the government redacts more data. Hundreds of thousands of employees and tens of billions of dollars of expenditure are fully redacted.

The SBA info is interesting, but I'd really like to hear the highlights of the Covid relief SBA abuse. That's got to be enough for an hour-long talk all on its own.
