This makes perfect sense. Blizzard is now a parody of itself. There was always humor in their games, all the way back to Lost Vikings, but that abomination on the right is just mockery.
Also, what is this from? Is this an official Blizzard piece of "artwork" or is it just a fan-made picture that perfectly captures present-day Blizzard and Blizzard fans?
It definitely follows the current styleguide ala Lauren D. Austin and I wouldn't doubt its authenticity if it were someone fresh, though plenty of fans are also artists.
This has been a constant theme I've noticed with them where they go more and more cartoony with their character styles compared to how they did their artwork before which was extremely dark and gritty. Starcraft 1 and Starcraft 2 cinematics are a great example of this.
By today's standards Starcraft 2 wasn't actually terrible because they still had attractive women in the game and everything but they made the Zerg look more like cartoony alien monsters than anything truly terrifying. Contrast that with Starcraft 1's science vessel cinematic which looks like it came straight out of an aliens film. I loved the Overmind in Starcraft 1 and how creepy the Zerg were.
Then they had to go and fucking ruin all of that and I think it was partly because of WoW and how mainstream the Blizzard universes had gotten so another case of normies ruining everything. Can't have the parents getting offended by gore and horror so they clearly had to tone it down for those audiences. It doesn't really make sense to the lore either because of really creepy stuff like the infested terrans.
There still is. Turning women into fruits as an example. Though you need some dark humour to appreciate it. And it's probably not intended to be funny.

Its Hearthstone. There is a particular style they use for it that I can't describe but you just know it when you see it.
Which does soften how bad it is somewhat, simply because that game has long had goofy, dumb card art for joke cards with weird effects.

I don't know, I got the image off Facebook.
It’s from the Warcraft 2 manual, drawn by Chris Metzen.
Might be art from Warcraft Rumble or Hearthstone.
The creatures puppeteering blizzard's corpse are cashing out on all properties.
It's fanart made for a themed art challenge.
