Family is the base unit of a functional human society.

Anyone whose entire worldview depends on alienating parents from their children, husbands from their wives, brothers from their sisters doesn't understand what it means to be human. Allowing them to direct society will lead to nothing but misery and decline.

We're not meant to be interchangeable societal pawns for the government to move about as they please, as though their assumed ownership of us overrides all the bonds of family that have been the bedrock of cohesive cultures for as long as we can remember.
