Desantis isn't in a position to win anymore EVEN IF Trump is barred from running, Vivek has a chance if Trump is barred but I don't trust him....Well I don't trust the MAJORITY of people but I don't trust him to abide by that 'promise' in particular.
This election is Trump or nothing because of the throw everything and the kitchen sink approach of the legal system under the direction of the administration. The only good thing is because of Georgia's laws, it's backfiring HARD because they released the mugshot and we'll be getting a televised trial soon.
Vivek's already been pushing the Digital ID angle, which is just fucking "lovely". All under the "totally not fake" guise of trying to protect children from the evils of social media.
Really wish Republicans would just finally force the whole party to kick nanny-state platforms to the curb once and for all. Well that, and dystopian shit in general, but it always seems to slip by just enough because of technology illiterate boomers who buy into the fabricated narrative.
DeSantis has gone on record being against further funding for Ukraine & in favor of a pivot away from Europe, to Asia.
He's gone on the record with waffling. Not only to Tucker but also in the debate.
Vivek has forcefully done so.
Vivek is great as a rhetorical tool to push other candidates around but as someone who has to make tough decisions and stick by them, not so much. In his world the "tough decisions" you make are whether to screw people over to save yourself, and it's not that tough because the answer is always yes. Greed is good and all that.

DeSantis' position is far from ideal, but it's miles better than Neocon Nikki, Fat Fattie or other also-rans. There is no reason to tear down great candidates. Imagine if there was a DeSantis running in 2000, instead of just George Bush and John McCain.

That last part sounds very much like Trump, who did throw the January 6 protesters under the bus to save himself. I don't even blame him, because being the target of the regime like that is enough to bend anyone, but let's not forget.

True, but Trump is better than DeSantis and in fact the only reason DeSantis exists in his current form is because of Trump. Trump has a straightforward, proven strategy to end the war, everyone else does not. So I'm going with him.

Everyone has their breaking point and Vivek would have reached his long before Trump.

Not sure about the 'proven' part, but yeah, Trump is the best man on foreign policy.
But DeSantis is also very good.

I'm not a Trump cultist, but I'm absolutely amazed by how much this man has been able to endure, despite living in a cocoon of status, wealth and privilege for his entire life. I don't think he has any equal anywhere.
Trump said that he would threaten Ukraine with cutting off arms, and Russia with increasing arms deliveries to that puppet shithole non-country, which is exactly what you would do in that situation if you actually do want to end the war.
Of course, I think he'd get played but one or both sides, but there's no doubting that his heart is in the right place.
Nah, if you wanted to end the war, you'd only be able to do it by threatening direct intervention.
Russia is deathly afraid of a NATO attack, because it can barely handle Ukraine. If NATO stepped in, the forces of righteous democracy would scythe through the corrupt, demoralized slaves like a hot knife through butter & there is nothing the weaklings could do to stop us.
You really think that? Germany has something like 25,000 shells left, total. Ukraine, with an army of 800,000 rotated through terrorizing the Donbas for 8 years, can barely hold its own despite being funded, propped up and armed by the entire US empire.
I think it would be smart for Russia to try to bait NATO into intervening. They have more to lose in a nuclear holocaust. Same reason the US doesn't mess with North Korea.
righteous democracy
Is that the new name for 'drag queen empire which killed a million people in Iraq'?

Trump has refused to answer the question, dodging with his ridiculous claim that he would end the war in a day. Stop carrying water for him.

He has also gone on record saying the opposite. So its fairly hard to figure out exactly what his real stance is.
