The reason shelters exist is to protect animals from the crazy people that take them all in. I'm glad this worked out.
I was at the dog park yesterday. This woman I realized didn't have a dog but she was feeding them. Then it dawned on me: She's not exercising or whatever a dog; she's looking for one. God only knows what she did to the rest of of 'em. Ok that is some morbid thinking, but you know people be crazy.
Always possible, but given the number of nutcases out there, and that certain demographics of nutcases are never punished for their crimes, and that asylums no longer really exist, it can't hurt to be careful.
We have some pseudo-ferals show up but never for very long so I hope they are adopted or go to the shelter. Nice people are all good; it's the one crazy one that ruins it for everyone else.
