Yeah, a few years ago some places started putting up signs warning that illegal drugs use would be reported, and some dangerhair from the university went around and tore them down. Actively admitted to it on the news, I do think the cops dealt with it (they don't fuck around here, and have a very nasty reputation), but the signs never really came back (but then, covid hit.)
