This is fascinating because I do keep a general eye on the market and there seems to be massive pushback happening from gamers who properly play these games. Normally there are more than a few fanbois out there who will defend DLCs to the death but it seems even the majority of gamers now have had enough of the DLC policies these studios follow. On top of that it seems elsewhere people are reporting on the shoddy releases coming out where they just don't run well.
Apparently it plays well until act 3, then it’s a rushed, buggy mess.
Ah so a true larian studios title after all
Really works in their favour since I never finish more than 33% of a Larian title.
Ah so the MGSV issue where you can clearly tell when the original team stopped work and a new team was quickly finishing to get it out.
That's what I've seen consistently posted as well and stuff I've seen in the game is just flat out broken or very jarring. I'm not 100% convinced they'll fix it but I remember how broken Divinity Original Sin 2 was when that first came out.
I'm certain they rushed the release date to avoid starfield. They talked about the upper city for months up until even the last dev livestream and yet it was completely cut at the last second? Very weird. One companion is also completely bugged and another only has a bad end due to said cut content.
Wait so there's an entire section of Baldur's Gate that they didn't even bother putting in? That's a piss take, reminds my a lot of Cyberpunk 2077 with the rush crap where they clearly cut out tons of content.
