Normal people say things because they want to use language to convey their thoughts to other people.

Gay commies say things to

1. signal their loyalty to the revolution by advancing the party agenda (virtue signal)
2. to determine if neutral parties are the enemies of the revolution by seeing who pushes back
3. to attack the enemies of the revolution (virtue signal and satisfy their innate sadism)

Occasionally they will also in-fight with other revolutionaries for dominance, but usually not in public around possible counter-revolutionaries.
