I will say that after Top Gun: Maverick Tom Cruise is earning my trust as someone who knows what kind of movie I want to see.
Guy might actually undo all the damage being typecast as a "crazy Scientologist" did to him back in the day, for no other reason than mainstream society becoming even crazier and him now seemingly being the "sane man". Never thought I'd live to see the day...
An interesting theory I've read and makes sense to me with how crazy society is that alot of the actors of the time jumped on the crazy Scientology bandwagon to escape joining the pedo Hollywood cult.
Scientology does have some power behind it and while bizarre I'm sure it's preferable to the pedos and moloch worshippers. It's an interesting thought at least.
All I will say is that a close IRL friend now wears dresses and believes he is a woman, and compared to that jumping up on a sofa and yelling while on national television is completely normal and sane behavior.
I don't know what Scientology's position is on my friend's behavior or on pedos, but if they're against those things then I guess I'm at least a temporary ally of theirs. If our side wins then we can worry about negotiating terms of mutual truce, but until then there's bigger fish to fry.
Yeah I admit I don't know that much of Scientology besides the memes but if I was entering Hollywood and had a choice between Xenu and the child sacrificing moloch worshippers I'm choosing Scientology any day of the week.
They're also big on hating psychiatry and therapy, which seems to be all for worshiping mental illness nowadays.
