Our 18th century ancestors had the advantage of major support from one of the most powerful countries on Earth. White South Africans have no international support at all.
Quite the opposite in fact. We left Rhodesia hanging out to dry and were embargoing the hell out of South Africa over Apartheid.
And now, iirc the Western powers aren't exactly giving the whites in either country visas or what have you. Certainly any asylum claims would probably be declined if our treatment of the Copts and other Arab Christians trying to flee to safety is any indication.
Fun aside with the Christians, Assad and his allies were the only ones doing anything to protect them in Syria. The Jihadis and other rebels we bankrolled and trained were massacring every ✝️ they could get their hands on.
