I still like the old English and while I have other bibles with different translations I still use the Bible my grandfather had u0 until he died. But I agree about the importance of understanding the text and the context it was used. A lot of people quote that not understanding what it means

The KJV doesn't really get a pass from me due to the whole "kill" mistranslation.
The correct text is thou shalt not commit murder.
