I wonder who Vince forgot to bribe?
Doesn't matter. His wife was in the Trump administration. That's enough to have him be executed by a DC jury.
They don't even claim sexual assault or harassment any more. Those have actual legal definitions.
Now everything is "misconduct" -- and what is misconduct? Whatever the woman decides it is, whenever she decides that it is.
Its hard to commit assault or harassment by accident, you generally need intent malicious or otherwise.
Misconduct can be as simple as calling girls hot in front of them, because suddenly they felt like you might have said the same about them at some time and thereby sexualized them at work.
It can also be litigated well after the fact. It might not have been sexual misconduct when he called her hot when she was a 20 year old nobody with no money... But after she's aged out at 30 and wants one more cash grab, suddenly that interaction 10 years ago was definitely misconduct.
He used money from a publicly traded company under false pretenses.
He doubled her salary and apparently did payments in secret, the board was unaware.

while scummy, this has never been a crime as far as I'm aware. especially if the woman who got paid thought this was unfair, they should not have taken the money and should have instead pursued charges.
Especially when half of them went back to work with him after the fact (Sable for one).
It is when you do with the money from a public traded company and lie about what it's for.
If WWE had still been private and everyone paid their taxes he would have been fine.
They only bring that up to say "he knew" of the problem and tried to solve it, which denies him the easy escape of saying he never knew he did anything wrong.
Its basically the "you tried to cover up, so clearly you know right and wrong" clause that denies most insanity defenses, but used to give women more power.
Dems have always been pissy at the McMahons for donating all those millions to the GOP. In fact, much of the touted "Trump administration indicted for crimes," the peak of this was with the McMahon funded super PAC, that at some point was worth $100 million. Now I see it's $20 - $30 million: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America_First_Policies
There's even speculation that the WWE vs WCW "war" was all over a Democrat super donor wanted to put a GOP super donor out of business. The Democrat super donor, Ted Turner, even started CNN specifically to ensure no GOP gets elected again.
why is paying whores to fuck off illegal?
It's not.
Not if he used his own money, but he used his publicly traded company's money.
That's what I hear the news saying, that he used company funds, but I guess that I need to see it in a court of law, or even a police report. I can't just believe the news.
It's not, it is a crime to falsify payments from a SEC regulated public company.
