I have a daughter and if she is in an office and she is doing the same job as the person next to her then I would want her to be paid equally. There is no doubt about that.
The fact that Men's World Cup and Women's World Cup are being considered the same job in the same office is the error in the logic.
Even if you grant same job at the same office the male colleague is producing/earning so much more for the company that he would 100% have a much higher wage or be able to negotiate for one, not to mention he would be up for promotions (fake ones to increase salary if he doesn't want the extra responsibility or normal ones).
