Ugh, this what I hate about this leftist 'comedy', is so surface level and superficial. There's no quality on the timing of the punchlines at all and there's no enthusiasm to go with it like a laugh or a cheeky smirk you get from people when they manage to make their joke.
Every "news" outlet and opinion writer for the past two months: "This movie is a bold clap back at the patriarchy and it's a queer anthem for marginalized trans bodies of color yaaaaaas Barbie's message is soooo important"
Conservatives: "Sounds pretty woke."
The Mentally Feeble: "LOOOOOL IT'S LITERALLY JUST PLASTIC DOLLS LOOKS LIKE THE SNOWFLAKES ARE TRIGGERED AGAIN LMAO LMFAOOOOOO"

The trailer told me it, quite proudly, it was the most subversive movie of the year. In exactly those words.
This movie was surprising, though.
Never thought I'd see Barbie get bad end'd.
