I'd avoid using the left able to critique Judaism as an example, they're a few months away from adding the P to LGBT

The Jewish have a high in-group bias where they are more prone to circle the wagons and defend ANY member of their race (because it can be a race as much as a religion) before taking into account the facts. Thanks to a failed uprising against Hadrian, the Jews have mostly been a minority group in other countries which has reinforced this in-group bias along with being targeted for them for centuries being able to charge interest on non-Jews.

Ironically, while I would freely critique EVERY religion for things that need reforming or a renaissance to bring it up to date (like stop circumcisioning kids!), I've come to the conclusion that as a whole, humanity NEEDS the organised religions.

Atheism is only meant for a very few minority as most cannot cope with it's implications which is why they easily join the leftist cult to fill the hole created by Atheism than try to use philosophy to create their own meaning. For the majority, better they stick with Christianity, Islam, Buddhism even the Japanese method of being more focused on traditions than faith as the alternative makes you susceptible to cults.

Plenty of the people in this thread will accuse me of being a jew, while being an anti-theist anyway.

I totally agree with Nietzsche's point that eventually modernity "killed God", but instead of going into a dead panic to latch onto something, it's an impetus to take personal responsibility and maximize your agency over life. You can't use God as a crutch anymore if there is no God. But people really don't like that.

As for Jews, many of their successful strategies of literacy, family focus, community focus, community building, and financial responsibility can be replicated by anyone. Big reason you should save money is so that you can loan it out to your family, then they pay you back, instead of the bank, thus increasing the "pool of money" that gives you and your family financial independence. Marx and Hitler called this "hoarding gold". I call it not being a fucking retard. It's the most properly anti-bank activism you can take: be your own bank.

I'm happy to criticize judaism for being too insular, being easily swayed by Leftism (because they are literally who Marx was referring to as the bourgeoise), or biting kids dicks (all circumcision is wrong); but those are never how these White Socialists see anything. Hell, I've explicitly stated that atheist jews should be barred from the Right Of Return, and we should cut all foreign aid to Israel (they can pay their loans, and frankly we need that). Instead, it's always about how a jewish racial cabal is the sole force behind all things bad that ever happened, and hypnotized white women.

It's purely their dialectic. Whites are the Proletariat, Jews are the Bourgeoise. Nothing else matters, and all arguments stem from motivated reasoning.

atheism, is one of the growing things. in most theistic countries. it's small now, but it will get to a point where it becomes mainstream

And that's the problem, when something becomes mainstream, you have a lot of people that just go along with it, a symptom of a herd mentality. They don't understand the concepts behind it, they haven't checked what it entails, they just see everyone else starting to run so they run in the same direction.

One of the things I often think of when it comes to this is Nietzche's 'god is dead and we killed him' in his work. It's a warning that religion for all it's faults provided a framework for morals and cohesion so even if you were just a sheep, you were penned in a field safe from predators.

So what if you embrace atheism without the prerequisite of self reflection, introspection and creating your own moral framework. You can go rampant, you no longer have a safety net, you began running with the crowd that you only notice too late you ran into dark woods, there are few around you and you don't know the way back.

The reason I said atheism is for a minority is because it requires introspection to understand properly. Not that many people are willing to do that so only succeed in removing the moral structures provided without making new ones.

I am an atheist as I came to that conclusion through empirical reasoning, introspection and self actualisation. I started as a kid agnostic but developed more with experience. I've done the hardest thing of questioning my own reality and existence that I can develop a basis for my beliefs.

We're talking past each other so let my give an example, this is like voting. A lot of people will just follow the herd and vote the way their friends, family or those they hold in high regard tell them to vote. They don't take the time to research their candidates, their track record or if they are vulnerable to certain influences. These people that are easily swayed should not vote.

I said before, I'm not uncritical of religion but atheism should not be seen as 'the natural progression', because we already had that, atheism+ and look at them now, mostly leftists nowadays gone deep on the kool-aid

I have MANY examples of where having a higher power to refer to stops people from acting out worse outcomes, many of those instances those people have authority through religion.

We can see the effects of adopting a more secular approach in the west, people shifted to embrace leftist values, same thing happened under Stalin and communism. There a fewer people that can make their own morality than those that simply adopt one that's offered to them. That latter is the point of religions.

You're taking it as a personal attack when the point I'm making is this: 'a person is smart, people are dumb, panicky, dangerous and you know it'. humanityis NOT as evolved as we like to fool ourselves to be, thinking that everyone can embrace the concept that there is no god, no afterlife and that this is the only life without them being desperate to embrace ANYTHING else to give them meaning is a bit foolish given what we see here everyday on here..
