Wow, as the saying goes...there's a lot to unpack here.
For one thing, the slippery slope of language strikes again. Mental illness/disorder became "neurodivergent." Now apparently even that became "neurodiversity."
And mental illness is something to be proud of now.
Did...did they think this through? There is no [mental illness] without gay shit?
Translation: It's all about the gay trans. You can't have anything if you don't support the gays and trannies. Not even a mental disorder. You get nothing, unless you swear allegiance to the rainbow flag.
Its not as mask off as it seems. These people believe fully in Intersectionality. One of the core tenets of that is that oppression effects all "minorities" (the numerical one definition) and so any attack on one is an attack on them all and must be defended by all of them else they forfeit their benefits/protection from the entire group.
That's why a lot of these gotchas don't phase them. Because their belief system makes sense in their head and you aren't triggering any alarms pointing it out. Its pure tribalism, and all non-white, straight, cis, Christian males (and other modifiers) belong to them.
You don't even get to pick your champions. They claimed you, and your oppression, and now you must obey them or watch and they turn their full wrath upon you. Its pretty sickening to watch, as its almost bullet point cult behavior but on a political global scale.
