That's assuming that this new breed of tranny is even as "legitimate" as the previous breed, though. It's clearly not. As a society we've tacked on social status and other benefits to an existing cult clique. It would be ridiculous to assume the average person identifying as "transgender" nowadays was identical to a "transgender" from even the previous generation.
Of course modern trannies aren't killing themselves at such a rate...because they're all fake to begin with. It would be like saying half of emos and goths are killing themselves.
