Most people want nothing to do with it but put up with it because it's easier than arguing. Now they have no choice but to argue so everyone rejects it.
If you actually want to be inclusive, you should be un-politically patriotic, simple as.
Is this even possible anymore? I think that the most politically neutral form of patriotism would come out looking something like: "We at [Brand] think that [Country] is pretty nice and we support the nice people of [Country] in enjoying their lives and keeping [Country] good." You wouldn't specify exactly what makes it good in your eyes, just that you think it is. The problem with this is that now, the left has made their platform into "actually, [Country] is AWFUL, and if you don't think so that's only because you're also awful." If someone says "[Country] is pretty nice" now, the response is "yeah... not if you're [black, gay, whatever the NPC narrative says is oppressed in [Country]]. Check your privilege."
