This sounds like schizophrenic behavior to me, or at the very least severe paranoid delusions. Even if she truly believed she was being kidnapped, she's still a danger to society.
A Texas man in El Paso died days after being shot by his Uber passenger, who claimed to have incorrectly assumed she was being kidnapped and taken to Mexico.
Daniel Piedra, 52, had been on life support after being shot multiple times in the back of the head on 16 June. Doctors said he would never be able to come off life support, and his family made the decision to pull him off it on Wednesday, when he died.
Bets on pussy pass in action? I’m thinking it will easily be reduced to man 2 with a possibility of involuntary manslaughter
Not only is she a woman, she's black. She'll get a year in prison (minus time served) (minus time for good behavior) (minus time to heal racial trauma), take her court mandated meds for about two weeks before stopping them because they make her feel "weird", and do it again.
When you hit the "start" button on your washing machine, it starts washing clothes, even if there are no clothes inside. It doesn't know if it's empty or not, nor does it care. Nor can it care. It's a simple machine organized programmed to behave in a specific way given a certain input. If it deviates from this programming too often, it gets discarded and replaced with a more reliable model.
A criminal affidavit obtained by KTSM, a local news station, alleges that Copas did not call for help when she believed she was being kidnapped or after she shot Piedra. She allegedly took a photo of Piedra and sent it to her boyfriend, KTSM reported. She is being held on a $1.5m bond.
Not calling for help while in the car is possibly understandable. The rest, not so much.
What I want to know is whether she was drunk, sleeping, or something else that she forgot about taking the ride.
I see no reason to even entertain the claims of the murderer here. It's no less ridiculous than if the headline was "Woman who shot Uber driver claims she thought he was a space alien". The rider was the one with the gun. All she'd have to do was point it at him and say "stop the car."
If she's sending photos of the guy to her boyfriend, she could have easily called for help. "Hey, the uber driver I just sent you a photo of? He's kidnapping me! Call the cops, and have them trace my phone!"

My guess is what happened is he didn't speak english.

Bunch of people assumed she was a "white, MAGA and fox news brainwashed about brown people". Funny to see she turned out to be black.

I believe the analogy is clear.
