Not a failure just because it wasn't a total victory.
What gamergate did was wake up a LOT of normies to the fact that the conspiracy they always suspected is real. There is behind the scenes collusion across entire industries and that collusion is for the express purpose of forwarding the gay commie agenda.
Those awakened individuals were almost entirely overlapping with the veterans of the 2016 meme war that pushed Trump into the presidency. Imagine how much worse things would be if we were 7 years into a Hillary presidency?
That stumbling block in their plans gave us a bit of time to spread information and entrench resistance. As the captured institutions cracked down that created space for alt news sources and media catering to dissidents. These guys only have their platform because the initial gamergate backlash created that butterfly effect.
The Babylon Bee was another one of these alt sites and its banning off Twitter may just have been what finally flipped Elon into buying the bird app.
Not that I'm particularly hopeful but if there is any saving Western Civilization, Elon's twitter purchase and subsequent moderation changes just may be what started the dominos toward ultimate victory.
Gamergate collapsed likely due to infighting between the dying libertarian left and emerging dissident right, as well as people refusing to organize off of reddit to avoid getting the community wrongfully banned.
Gamergate collapsed due to the number of people who refused to accept that the source of the issue was deliberate malice from the feminist movement writ large, what we now call wokeness.
That was apparent to everyone who is intelligent considering the extremist cunts get pissed at literally anything that does not comply to their ideology, also it was obvious they were clearly defending Zoe Quinn due to both personal ties AND extremism. They literally believed she did nothing wrong because the woke butt buddies are all literal misandrists who have no issue with women cheating on men.
