Assuming twitter is showing my time then that is oddly bright for nighttime footage. As Google tells me this would be at 5 am if it is indeed at Rostov
It is the summer solstice, which is the longest day and shortest night.
Equinoxes are in spring and autumn, where the day and night are of equal length. Spring Equinox is a fertility festival; bunnies and eggs represent fecundity and new life respectively.
Autumn equinox is a harvest festival.
Winter Solstice is the shortest day and longest night in midwinter, and that is a festival to return light and life to the world.
I hope that peace returns and that one day you will get to see it. The parties in St Petersburg during "beliy noche" (white nights) are unrivaled on the planet.
A quick check lists Rostov at 47° north while Edinburgh, which is still further south than I am in Scotland, is at 56° north. It's bright very early here this time of year since we've just had the summer equinox solstice, and with the time coming up to half 5 in the morning it's still been bright for the last couple of hours.
I never trust social media for news, if I have time I DuckDuckGo the title when somebody posts Twitter as a source, in this case it turns out the news are right but I don´t know about the video.

It's summer and far north. In another few weeks the sun will be up for 24 hours in St Petersburg.
The summer equinox was yesterday, it's called white nights. We're now on the downside of the sun across the northern hemisphere.

Don't know enough about the area so I'll take your word for it.
I'm just going to enjoy my popcorn before shit kicks up again as this shit is starting to become as farfetched as a soap opera.

I really admire Peter the Great and I like that St Petersburg still bears his mark. I'd love to walk through the streets and talk to the locals.
No one on earth tells stories like the Russian people. They have a grip on dark humor that no one else can match.
I have been told by a couple people that learning Russian is worth it, just for the literature.

"I only believe what the legacy media tells me"
I pity you if your main source of information for life is Twitter.
The pity of a fool is the greatest compliment.
