The drops were, of course, manufactured in India. Nobody should ever, ever, ever allow something from India to make direct contact with them.
The scary thing is, I have a bottle of eye drops here and there's no indicator of where they were made. Could be next door, could be a third world shithole where they don't wash their hands. As a consumer I should have a right to know these things, but I don't.
One thing that I hated learning during the pandemic was that the US makes basically no medicine. It seems completely insane to have a country that can't make basic medical supplies.
