I've seen the "have a baby, come back a few months later, have another baby 1 year later, come back and immediately give 2-weeks notice" enough times that I'm no longer on board with this paid maternity leave thing.
Unpaid maternity leave? Sure. Paid maternity leave with clawback provisions? Perhaps -- but difficult to implement. Otherwise, if she wants kids, they are the responsibility of her and her husband, not me.
How many times do I have to tell you that I (and a lot of other people) agree with a lot of what you say, we just get sick of all of the extra bullshit that comes with it?
