They had that happen in a crossover with the daredevil series and it was actually pretty good and I'm not always a fan of philosophy in hero stuff because I feel that takes away a hell of a lot of the fun of it.
If it's the right sort of super heroes yeah, I feel like Avengers Civil War bringing that sort of shit up was annoying though. It's like lambasting Hulk for being too destructive when that's his whole fucking gag as a character, it doesn't have a place. Speaking of they completely cucked hulk as a concept with the latest round of super hero stuff which is a piss take.

Lol
Daredevil : Everyone has some good in them Frank, everyone can be redeemed
Also Daredevil : If you kill criminals there's something irreparably broken with you Frank.
It's more paying lip service to neutrality than real nuance, only the side they want you to support gets to have their cake and eat it.
Only a Sith deals in absolutes.
Goddamn, I loved the Punisher arc in DareDevil.
Actually nuance in a super-hero show.

Yeah Avengers Civil War was a ham-fisted shoehorning of philosophy.
The DareDevil show did a great job portraying the DareDevil and Punisher divide.
I liked how this argument felt natural as a clash between two men with a completely different view of the world. It didn't feel forced.
The new MCU is clearly shit and they ruined many characters like Hulk.
That was really good too.
