I get the feeling actual women athletes know exactly where they stand against men, but I’m sure some non-athletic feminists were shocked by this result. Especially the kind who vocally support trannies in women’s sport.
But I don’t give much credit for the USWNT realistically knowing where they stand against men since they spent about a decade arguing they were “better than the men” when that was convenient to their salary lawsuits. (Plus the little discussed fact that the national team was just chasing the bag for their own limited roster — there is an entire women’s league in the US, where most of the players won’t make the national team, and the suing players didn’t seem concerned that the non-USWNT players get paid diddly squat.)
