The games industry is shit, Hollywood is shit, so learn Blender, game engines and make your own shit
You'll have more fun making your own stuff and knowing it will at least be even half-decent compared to the absolute crap the industry is churning out these days will keep up the motivation. Rather than constantly getting your hopes up and setting yourself up for disappointment and expecting somebody to rescue you.
It's easier said than done, and that's coming from somebody with decent amount of experience with 3D modeling, animation, etc.
That being said with the increasing ease of use in technology, including things like AI, the limit really is your own willpower (and spare time) to create things that you enjoy. Just don't expect to earn any money from it, and if people notice and enjoy it that's more down to luck and timing than anything else.
Oh for sure but at the same time I do believe that even AAA games are getting so shit now even a total amateur could release something that's fun compared to the shit they keep churning out. You're not going to be releasing the next blockbuster movie or anything but I'd much rather watch short films and such made by somebody who cares.
