RES isn't really affected by this, as far as I'm aware - it has a different problem, it's on life support because noone really wants to work on it anymore. It will die when peddit kills the old interface, but again, it's a different problem.
The current API jewery directly affects 3rd party apps like Reddit Is Fun, Apollo, etc., as well as reveddit as you mentioned, but IIRC that got throttled already a few months ago.
True, RES is just an extension. I'm not sure if it relies on the API at all.
It sucks no one is working on it, though. Even without an account, it still makes reddit better.
Yeah, RES really shows how Reddit's target audience has shifted. It used to be a bunch of nerds, the type of nerds who get bored and develop extremely elaborate browser extensions. Nowadays it's all trannies who don't develop shit because they spend their time dilating their neovaginas. (I mean, the dozen or so actual users who aren't bots.)
